The New Dyno Record Is What?!
The New Dyno Record Is What?!

A 3,000hp truck?! Are you kidding me?! This was huge news and I was trying like crazy to share a glimpse of the pure violence his dyno pull made in a video I captured, but unfortunately I was having zero luck. After multiple attempts to refresh my screen to see if what I had attempted to post went through, I simply gave up. Besides breaking the horsepower record, it appears Zeigler may have broken the Internet that night too.

Maintaining proper temperature of your drivetrain’s precious fluids is critical to performance and reliability. CSF Radiators’ Universal Fluid Coolers let you do just that. They have an ‘Aero-Flow’ bar and plate design that is strong, offers more flow through the core, and can withstand a higher peak burst rate. The coolers can handle large amounts of vibration and debris, making them ideal for areas like the front fascia and side vents that see a lot of junk fly up from the road or track. CSF says you can even stand on one and not damage it.
CSF Fluid Coolers have flush-mount M8 x 1.25 mounting holes with Helicoid inserts, arranged in a triangular pattern on each side of the top and bottom endplates. A durable satin black finish protects the coolers from damage due to corrosion and impacts. (www.summitracing.com)

The 2022 UCC in Indianapolis, Ind., did not disappoint as the diesel truck industry came together once again at the legendary Lucas Oil Raceway. The one-of-a-kind event brings out the best-of-the-best in the diesel industry as trucks compete on the biggest stage in a drag race competition, dyno run, as well as a sled pull – some even with the same truck – to determine a champion and ultimate bragging rights. In prior UCC competitions the same truck needed to run in all three events but a format change this year allowed teams to enter different trucks to increase the number of competitors.

“My first truck was a 2004 F350 6.0L Lariat that I got from my dad,” Braedon recollected.
At first, his dad was just letting him drive the truck as a mode of transportation to and from school, but then Braedon started slowly putting money into it. By the time graduation came, he had put new injectors, custom tuning, AirDog fuel system, lift, flares, and a few other small things to it.

No matter how big or small it might seem, a dream is a non-comparable concept. To compare something you have to measure it, but you can’t measure that which brings personal happiness in life. Pure happiness is equal, no matter the source.
Netanya Shreiner’s dream is her 2008 Dodge RAM 2500 long bed diesel. Some might note that it doesn’t have all the gadgets that some builds do, but it’s her dream, which makes it equal to any truck that has all the upgrades and modifications you can think of. Just listen to Netanya’s own words.

Tires can make or break the cosmetic aspect of a truck build. And with the variety of weather and road conditions we face over 12 months, tires are critical.
In our backyard of eastern Idaho, we can see temps in the high 90s, snow, ice, rain, dirt, gravel, mud and sand. And that’s just in June.
Our test truck, a 2020 Ford F350 Power Stroke crew cab (@f350soup on Instagram), racks up about 26,000 miles a year. Half of that is winter driving, and most of that winter driving includes towing a 12,000-pound gooseneck snowmobile trailer. Our summer months include a lot of city and highway, with a considerable number of dirt roads as we search out all those places that lack other people.
