S&S Diesel Motorsport

This small injector is the LB7 SAC00 for 2001-2004 GM trucks with the LB7 Duramax engine. The LB7 Duramax is now a 20-year-old engine with 20-year-old VCO injector technology. S&S worked directly with Bosch to develop new LB7 injectors that feature modern SAC nozzle technology, but have the same output as stock. They are a direct drop-in improvement that doesn’t require any tuning, and are CARB compliant.

Stock LB7 injectors with VCO nozzles have a reputation for wearing out early (50,000 to 80,000 miles). In contrast, later generation injectors with new SAC nozzles will last hundreds of thousands of miles without issue, provided clean fuel is run through them. After having much success with its oversized SAC45 LB7 injectors in terms of durability, S&S decided to develop a stock-flowing SAC nozzle to increase the lifespan of LB7 injectors without increasing emissions.
