When we talk to truck owners about their build, it’s not uncommon for them to first mention what kind of lift kit they have on it. For good reason, too — lift kits are cool. It can be just as refreshing though to see a good-looking leveling kit on builds trying to do something a little different. Either way, it’s an important part of a build when you want to get a little more attention. This month, we decided to roundup some lift and leveling kits for you to check out–for those of you who don’t have one yet, that is.

BDS Suspension

Carli Suspension

ProRyde

Most leveling kits are not adjustable: the height you see is the height you get, and your truck may or may not actually be leveled perfectly. The ProRyde LIFTMachine for trucks with MacPherson strut or coil spring front suspensions features an adjustable helix drive system that makes it a snap to set the exact height required to level your truck. You can adjust the height from 1.5 to 3 inches (depending on model) right on the diesel, using standard ½-inch drive sockets and wrenches. A large diameter jam nut securely locks in adjustments.

The LIFTMachine installs on the top of the strut assembly so there is no time-consuming strut disassembly. That also means there is no coil spring “preload” that can mess up ride comfort.

Rancho

The 2.5-inch Radius Arm Leveling Suspension System features Rancho’s full radius arms with OE-matching rubber upper mounts and lower brackets at the axle to allow for caster adjustment. The system also comes with new front coil springs, leveling the front of the truck with the rear. The Rancho brand offers a limited lifetime warranty for this suspension system.
